We have had a great start to the new term! We are busy working on new ways to solve problems in our Maths lessons and we are trying hard to explain our knowledge and understanding.
Our new IPC topic is called From A to B and is all about transport, travel and maps! We have talked about different kinds of transport and sorted them into groups. We decided to sort them using the categories of air, land and sea.
Soon, we will going on a trip to the Ipswich Transport Museum. Check back here for photos of our day!
World War Two History Day!
We had a fantastic day learning all about World War Two. We dressed up as children from the 1940s and found out how their lives changed because of the war. We had to shelter under the tables when we heard the air raid sirens - it was quite scary! We also made food using wartime recipes for an end of war victory party! Key stage one joined together for the celebration and shared carrot biscuits, eggless cakes, potato scones and fairy bread (with chocolate spread made from potatoes!).
