6H Summer 2017

Welcome back after the Easter break. At Handford Hall we always have high standards for work and behaviour. We expect the children to be smart, polite and hard working. With parents and staff working in partnership, we are sure the children will be able to achieve great things during this term. The summer term is especially important as we make final few preparations towards SATs, Year 6 transition, Sports' Day and many more exciting events.

SATs are nearly here (8th  to 11th May) and so revision is on-going in class, before school and after school. Please reassure and support your child as some may become anxious. There will be a meeting for parents so that you will know what to expect.

General Reminders:

Remember that if you are unsure about any aspects of our uniform (including what jewellery may be worn), there is information on our school website.  Here you can also find out the times of the school day, our term dates, school meal menus, etc.

We expect all children to be in school uniform (including shoes – not trainers). If there is some reason that your child is not able to wear part of their uniform, please let us know with a note or a quick chat. There are consequences for children who aren’t in proper uniform.

End of year reports will be issued in July. If you have any queries in the meantime, please do not hesitate to come and see us. We are always happy to discuss your child’s progress or any difficulties they may be having.
