Monday 8th June
Every day this week, draw the grid in your book. Time how long it takes you to complete it and record your time. By the end of the week, how quickly can you complete the grid? If there are any multiplication facts you struggle with, focus on them to ensure you have instant recall of all multiplication facts. Good luck - let me know your best time!

Properties of Solids, Liquids and Gases
All materials are split into solids, liquids or gases. Watch the BBC Bitesize clip of how particles behave differently in solids, liquids and gases.
Explain the differences between solids, liquids and gases. You can present in any way you like, so think about your presentation (poster, fact sheet, song, report ... make sure you use as much scientific language as you can).
Water can be either a solid, liquid or gas. Explain how the changes between states occur. Again, you can present your work however you like.
Tip: Can you think of everyday examples that show evaporation and condensation? This will help your understanding and explanation.
Include the following scientific words: temperature, heat, boil, cool, freeze, evaporation, condensation
