School Closure Work

Hello from Ms Kelly

Hello from Ms Kelly 1

It has been great to hear from some of you and see the lovely work that you have been doing. Keep sending them to me and I will reply back to you. You can see some of the work in the folder below. There are lots of new activities for you to try this week. If it is difficult for you to access the internet, use the  maths and English text books I gave you instead.

Remember, you can take your reading quiz once you've done your mind map  using this link, logging in as you do at school. There are lots of online books for you to choose from too.

Work hard, be kind and keep washing your hands.

Ms Kelly

TTR hall of fame this week:

Taisiya, Filip, Stepan, Nichola, Carolina, Luisa, Gabriela, Ricards, Martyna, Betty and Ethan.

Well done to you all!

Can we have even more of you next week?

Well done to our Mathletic Stars: Ethan, Stepan, Taisiya, Gabriela and Filip who have earned a certificate.

Try logging into Education City, I've set you some science work in the         Class work folder. See what you remember about the Water Cycle.

***Lexia Update***

Remember, if you go to the ICT room to complete Lexia units at school, you still need to complete your target of at least eight units per week.  Follow the instructions in the reading section for how to access Lexia at home. So far one person from 3/4K has completed their target.  Well done to them. Come on 3/4K, you can do it!

I hope that you enjoyed making your rainbows and have put them in your windows to make people smile.

Have you checked the amazing books online at

Dear Parents and pupils of 3/4K,

Everyone at Handford Hall is really sad that we have had to close for most of you and we will miss you very much.

I will be updating this web page every day with new learning for you to do at home. Every day there are year 3 and 4  Maths and English activities like the ones we do in class, to keep you busy. Read through the instructions and examples with a grown up if you can, then work through the practice sheets in your maths books. If you find it difficult to use the internet, remember you can use the maths and English text books we sent home last week.

I will set spellings and tables every Monday for you to practise. There will also be topic and art and craft activities for you to try.

Remember to keep reading, and those of you who have library cards can use the eLibrary at; it's FREE!

Do what you can and don't worry if you can't do it all. The most important thing is that we all look after each other and stay safe and healthy.

Why not start each day with a daily  5 minute workout using the link below. There are also links to our favourite class songs in the music folder, so you can keep singing!

I look forward to catching up with you all when things are back to normal.

With my very best wishes,

Ms Kelly
